We also cater for our younger visitors and those with special dietary requirements, including vegetarian and vegan diets and those with food allergies. Please note the prices displayed here are correct at the time of publishing and are checked regularly. If these vary from the bar prices, the bar prices will apply.

Gift Vouchers

We offer gift vouchers for the Inn for B&B and/or Meals with drinks, for any amount. Please see our Accommodation and Eating & Drinking sections for current tariffs. Vouchers are valid for a year from date of issue. Please email or give us a ring with your request. Great Christmas gifts for those who have (nearly) everything!

Dining Reservations

Bookings (6 people or less)

We do not normally accept group bookings for dining for less than 6 people. Instead, if we are busy in the bar/dining area, non-resident, dining customers are seated in turn. Residents are automatically reserved a table for dinner (and lunch if required). If we are busy our friendly staff will help you with a table. Please be advised that the Inn can get very busy during the peak season. So, if you are flexible with your dining times it may be better to avoid peak lunch and dinner times.

Group Bookings ( 6 people or more)

We encourage larger groups, for 6 or more people, to book ahead for dining to ensure we can fit you in. Bookings for these larger groups are on 2 hourly intervals so 12pm, 2pm, 4pm, 6pm or 8pm all day every day, during the peak season. Reserved tables are only held for 15 minutes so please let us know if you are going to be late. To book please ring on 01520 744 262 or email.

Please note we do not offer a breakfast service to non residents from the beginning of March till the end of October. The local Walled Garden restaurant offer full breakfast service from 8.30am every morning during this time.

Food and Drink Provenance

Here at the Inn we aim to source our quality ingredients for our dishes as locally as is viable, or at the very least try and remain Scottish! To help achieve this we are favoured by our beautiful seaside location and a great range of local suppliers. However, we are sometimes hindered by our remoteness! Other factors such as seasonality and the weather can affect what we have on offer but, we endeavour to, offer alternatives when possible. To accompany our delicious local food we try and stay Scottish with our drinks too!
