We would also like to request that, in line with the UK & Scottish Government's request for people to social distancing and refrain from undertaking non-essential travel, prospective visitors to our area respect this. We are a fragile and socially vulnerable community in relation to COVID-19 so are trying to isolate our community as best we can.

Normally Applecross welcomes visitors all year round and will do so again (as soon as possible!) but right now things are not normal. So, we would kindly ask you to support us, and our special community, by not coming to our area, until the Scottish Government have deemed non-essential travel safe to do again.

All the local businesses and the public toilets are now closed so there are no facilities to offer visitors at the moment. Further, we have limited healthcare and emergency services here. Hospitals are 2 hours drive away so any unnecessary strain on these services, or other complex situations, could have dire and far reaching consequences for you and all of our community. Please don't take unnecessary risks at this time.

We appreciate all the messages of support we have been receiving, it is very heartening. Sorry if we don't respond we're a bit overwhelmed at the moment. Also, given our unusual working arrangements please try and refrain from calling at this time. If you do have an enquiry, to help us best respond please note the following:

General enquiries - please email:

Bookings enquiries - please email:

Please note we will be getting in touch with guests directly with any updates which may affect them.

The future is still very much an unknown and we will continue to be guided by the Scottish Government on this.

We look forward to getting back to normal and welcoming you all again the future.

Thank you for your understanding in these very trying times.

Our Normal Home Page information is below, we look forward to reverting back to it soon :) In the meantime, if you are looking at coming to visit us later in the year please have a read :)

Judith Fish MBE, and all her lovely staff, welcome you to the Applecross Inn. The Inn aims to provide you with friendly service, fabulous food and drink and comfortable accommodation.

Situated on Shore Street, on the rural-remote Applecross peninsula, in the North West Highlands of Scotland, the Inn boasts lovely views across the Inner Sound of Raasay, to the isles of Raasay and Skye.

The Inn offers seven comfortable en-suite bedrooms on a bed and breakfast basis, they all have sea views! The price per adult per night for bed and breakfast is from £70 for 2019/2020.  Online booking is now available, please see our Accommodation section for more information.

Famous for its quality, multiple award-winning, dining and bar, the Inn’s great range of delicious fresh meals are well worth the journey here. We specialise in using local produce, including seafood and highland game and meats. We also offer daily seafood specials and have children and vegetarian menus available. Open for meals from 12pm till 9pm. Prices for meals range from £4.00 to £25.

Please note the following about general dining reservations. As we are a public bar which offers bar dining, we don't normally reserve tables to dine. To help manage larger groups we only accept dining bookings for parties of 6 or more people. If you are a larger group please phone or email ahead to ensure we can accommodate your party. Dining times for larger groups are every 2 hours daily, from 12pm, until the last sitting at 8pm. We manage smaller groups on a seat on arrival basis. If we are busy, our friendly staff will be on hand to assist you. We also have ample outside seating available.

The main bar area is wheelchair accessible and children (under 16) are welcome until 9pm. Well behaved dogs on a lead are also permitted. Wifi is provided in public areas in return for a donation to support local good causes. Please see our Eating & Drinking section for more information.

Open year-round, during the warmer months outdoor dining in our beer garden and ‘Applecross Inn-Side Out’ are also available. During the colder months, there is a peat burning stove in the bar/dining area. A Gold Green Tourism award winner, Judith and her staff aim to provide you and your family with an enjoyable relaxing Highland experience.
